Rahman Bahrun

Rahman, the fifth of five siblings, was born in Lahad Datu, Malaysia, and raised in Alor. With a farming background in his family, he grew up appreciating the importance of daily effort, clean surroundings, and living in harmony with nature.

At Nautika Dive Alor, Rahman is our all-around houseman, taking care of building and garden maintenance as well as waste management. He’s the kind of person who gets things done without needing a spotlight—steady, observant, and always making sure the space feels clean and cared for.

Rahman is also passionate about soccer, often using the sport as a way to unwind and connect with others. His sense of discipline on the field mirrors his thoughtful, consistent work ethic behind the scenes.

His message for Alor’s future is beautifully simple: kindness. For Rahman, it’s the foundation of everything worth building—whether that’s a clean garden, a better community, or a hopeful future.
